The conventional modern living room is almost universally arranged as a worship hall for a flat-screen television. Seating is locked in rigid rows facing a dark glass rectangle.
At Brookside Hearth, we invert this hierarchy. We tuck audio-visual equipment inside bespoke timber armoires, positioning the real centre of the room around a hand-carved stone fireplace, deep face-to-face sofas, and low lighting.
When you sit across from someone rather than beside them looking at a screen, conversation returns to an unhurried cadence. The room becomes a sanctuary where visitors linger for hours.
